Dr Govind Kulkarni is Senior Consultant in medicine and principal investigator for multiple research projects . He is associated with Jahangir Hospital for past 22 years. Before relocating to PUNE India, Dr Govind Kulkarni completed his MD medicine from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar marathwada university MAHARASHTRA INDIA in 1995 .He did advanced training in critical care &Cardiolgy at PD Hinduja hospital Mumbai Maharashtra .He completed his Cardiology research fellowship advanced training in Sydney Austalia.
Dr Govind Kulkarni conducted multiple research trial as a principal investigator at shree hospital ,sahayadri hospital ,ruby hall and JCDC Jahangir hospital Pune .He conducted trials in new cardiac drugs ,diabetic drugs ,antibiotics ,covid 19 drug and covid 19 vaccines.
He was principal investigator of multiple international trials like ENGAGE –AF for new oral anticoagulant ,FOURIER STUDY FOR PCSK9 Inhibiters and COVID 19 Vaccine like COVAVAX trials by ICMR/SII
His main interest is in treating critical patients and research with general practice in medicine
